Jen has been in the field of Massage since 1999 and is passionate about troubleshooting complex cases which have shown little progress with other modalities or practitioners. Working in conjunction with multiple disciplines of medicine throughout her career provide a large knowledge and referral base to draw from when formulating plans of care. Jenr's multidimensional approach to the body shows in her treatment techniques by the various modalities she may utilize during a session. Craniosacral Therapy, Intraoral Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Re-Education, Cupping Therapy, Guasha, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and KinesioTaping are a sampling of techniques she is proficient in, although at this time Jen has limited her practice to Intraoral and Craniosacral clients only due to a hand injury.

Anatomy has always interested Jennifer and at an early age she developed a deep fascination of the body and anatomy in particular.  Originally planning on pursing a career in Forensic Pathology, however, upon graduation from High School Jen decided to take a year off from her undergraduate college education to obtain her Massage Therapy License, hoping to use her certification to financially support her through years of future education. Once licensed as an LMT, she immediately excelled and found deep reward in her career choice, thus, putting off further studies to become more rooted in the manual therapy field.

Suffering from an autoimmune thyroid condition and discouraged with the western model of healthcare. Jen decided in 2010 to receive Craniosacral therapy when she couldn't find relief, propelling her journey into fascial modalities and light touch methods like Craniosacral Therapy and Structural Integration after 10 years of practicing extremely deep work. Craniosacral Therapy has evolved Jennifer’s approach in her practice as well has her life outside of work in many ways and she is extremely grateful for the profound impact it has had on all aspects of her life.

In the coming year Jennifer plans on deepening her specificity in the Craniosacral field by taking a class on chronic depletion, mentorship with a local Cranio instructor, and further studies on cranial nerves and autoimmune issues. Breast Massage certification is also on the list of classes for 2024 as well as another dissection course. Jen also plans to continue her post graduate education in search of her Master's Degree but has yet to decide on a program.

A love for travel keeps balance in Jen's life. Learning about historic places, other cultures, and experiencing local cuisine are so important in this phase of her life. RV travel with her partner, hanging with her dogs at her favorite beach, or attending jazz, blues, or classic rock concerts in exciting destinations are other ways she replenishes her energy.
